He co-led the NFC in interceptions during the 2004 season and has racked up more than 500 combined tackles, 86 pass deflections, 25 interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Lucas had close to 300 interception return yards and scored one touchdown. He appeared in 138 career games and made 112 starts. The six-foot, 205-pound corner had one of his best seasons during the 2002 year, garnering national attention for his two interceptions of ex-Falcons’ quarterback Michael Vick. He was also a standout player in 2004.
