Ferras parents separated when he was very young. One day his father told him they were going to Disneyland. They were actually flying to the father’s home country of Jordan. After some time and legal maneuvering, his mother successfully was able to bring him back to the United States where they settled in Southern California. He met Katy Perry for the first time in 2007.
