Ji-woo has starred in the movies Park Bong-gon gachulageon, Hallelujah, The Hole, Taekwondo, First Kiss, Nowhere to Hide, Moumantai 2, The Romantic President, Everybody Has a Little Secret, Shadowless Sword, and Yeolliji. She has appeared on many television dramas such as Beautiful Days and Stairway to Heaven as well as music videos and variety shows. Choi won Best new Actress awards at the Baeksang Arts Awards and Golden Cinematography Awards in 1998.
