Gonzalez is a two-time MLB All-Star, earning the honor in 2012 and again in 2013. He was the National League batting champion in 2010 and has won three Gold Glove Awards in 2010, 2012, and 2013. In 2010, Gonzalez also earned the National League Silver Slugger Award. Gonzalez has been married to his wife, fellow Venezuelan Indonesia Riera, since the fall of 2012.
