Kane has provided his singing voice for the movies Aladdin, and The Return of Jafar. He served as consulting producer for the TV series Crash from 2008 to 2009 and as co-producer of the television series Fringe from 2008 to 2010. In 2015 Kane was the supervising producer of the series Black Sails. As a singer his album This Day in History was released in 2008.
